How do you promote a natural product? In Richmond's case, by using an actor dressed only in his birthday suit.
To promote its 100% natural ham, Richmond has rolled out this TV commercial, running in June and July and forming the centrepiece of a £3 million marketing campaign.
In the ad, a young male farmer strolls naked through a rural village whilst enjoying a Richmond Ham sandwich. Passing cheery villagers going about their daily business he begins to proclaim the benefits of natural ingredients, set to the classic Sammy Davis Jr. song, ‘I’ve gotta be me”.
