The latest designer collaborative collection for high street retailer H&M sold out in just a day, according to reports.
English fashion star, Matthew Williamson’s, new line prompted queues round the block outside outlets and in-store riots as clothes were stripped from the rails.
If you weren’t one of the lucky ones, don’t despair.
Unusually for an H&M design project, a second wave of designs will be stocked in 1,600 stores worldwide from 14 May. And the guys are not to be overlooked with a new menswear line.
Get queuing in London well in advance or why not buy a low-cost plane ticket to a store destination in Europe and make a weekend of it?
To give you a taster of what’s coming take a peek at this advert where Saint Matthew comes to save a male and female populace from fashion boredom.
“Always the same. It’s boring. Monkey see, monkey do, follow me and I’ll follow you,” the soundtrack despairs.
Then Williamson appears to arrive from outer space like a comet, rising out of a crater and recovering to pose with a fine bevy of models in his designs.
